Blog … Trevor Noah Addresses “Beef” Accusation from Fan regarding Kanye West

Trevor Noah did a wonderful thing on behalf of Kanye West. In their latest exchange which could have gone quite ugly, and did on Kanye’s part, Noah took the compassionate, higher ground.

Citing experience with his grandfather who was diagnosed bipolar, Noah decided to address the rift as not a rift at all but rather a mental health issue. While not speculating as to any diagnosis of West, Noah seemed to call out his handlers, again leaning on his experience with his grandfather. He noted that everyone growing up knew when his grandfather was “having an episode”.  He further goes on to say that, if indeed Kanye was having a challenging time, then, “maybe this is not the time to put a microphone in your face so you can just go off saying everything.” Where are his handlers protecting him?  Or maybe they just benefit from the old adage, “No such thing as bad publicity”.
