Steve Donovan

Steve has been there. While Steve has a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Therapy from Loyola University of Maryland, that’s only a small part of the story. In recovery himself since 2006, Steve knows firsthand the heartbreak for individuals and families that addiction brings.  He has been working in addiction recovery since 2011 and spent another 8 years supporting others in the journey to their personal recovery. Steve is uniquely positioned to help clients with their struggles with addictive substances and behaviors. He has unique, targeted experience in group counseling, individual therapy, and additional specializations in interventions and family support. 

Clients share frequently about his ability to develop a personal connection and make them feel understood.  Steve believes that’s because BlackSheep focuses primarily on addiction and the underlying causes and conditions that can fuel it!
